Moelfre Lifeboat Station can be found on Lifeboat Lane in Moelfre, a village overlooking Moelfre Bay, on the north-east coast Anglesey, North Wales. A lifeboat was first stationed at Moelfre in 1848 by the Anglesey Association for the Preservation of Life from Shipwreck.

Moelfre is a small village on the east coast of Anglesey close to a collection of ancient sites, mostly Iron Age. It was a fishing village but the coast here is hazardous in nor'easterly weather, and there have been many shipwrecks.

The community is in the community of Moelfre, Anglesey, Wales, which is 136.4 miles from Cardiff and 214.9 miles from London. St Gallgo's Church, contains a memorial to hundreds lost when the Royal Charter bound from Australia to Liverpool hit the nearby Moelfre rocks.
