Betws-y-Coed railway station

Betws-y-coed railway station is on the Conwy Valley Line, which runs between Llandudno and Blaenau Ffestiniog. It is situated 15+1⁄2 miles south of Llandudno Junction.

Ugly House

Tŷ Hyll is a crudely built stone house on the A5 road between Betws-y-Coed and Capel Curig in north Wales. It has been used as a cafe since 2012. It became a Grade II listed building in 1966. Ugly House is situated 1½ miles northwest of Gwydyr Forest.

Penmachno is a village in the isolated upland Machno valley, 4 miles south of Betws-y-Coed in the county of Conwy, North Wales. The B4406 road runs through part of the village. Penmachno is situated 3½ miles south of Gwydyr Forest.
