Edern, formerly known as Edeyrn, is a village and until 1939 a civil parish, in the Welsh county of Gwynedd. It is about 1 km southwest of the larger village of Morfa Nefyn, near Caernarfon Bay on the north coast of the Llŷn Peninsula, on the B4417 road.| Tap on a place to explore it |

Garn Boduan is an Iron Age hillfort and hill near Nefyn, on the Llŷn Peninsula in Wales. In a survey in the 1950s the traces of over 170 round houses were identified on this site, and around 100 round houses are still visible on the ground. Garn Boduan is situated 2 miles east of Edern.

It was due to host the National Eisteddfod in 2021 but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, instead it hosted the 2023 edition. Garn Boduan, a hillfort built soon after Roman occupation, is located in the village. Boduan is situated 3 miles east of Edern.
