The Val Lumnezia or Val Lugnez is a side valley and political commune in the Surselva in Switzerland. At the end of the valley sits the town of Vrin.

Lumbrein is a former municipality in the district of Surselva in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. The municipalities of Cumbel, Degen, Lumbrein, Morissen, Suraua, Vignogn, Vella, and Vrin merged on 1 January 2013 into the new municipality of Lumnezia. Lumbrein is situated 6 km northeast of Sogn Giusep.
