The Church of San Giovanni Battista is located in the alpine village of Mogno in the Swiss canton of Ticino. It was built between 1994 and 1996 on the site of an older church, which was levelled by an avalanche in 1986.

Lago del Sambuco is a reservoir above Fusio, in the municipality of Lavizzara, Ticino, Switzerland. Its surface area is 1.11 km². The dam of Sambuco on the Maggia River was completed in 1956. Its maximum height is 130 m and length 363 m. Lago del Sambuco is situated 3½ km north of Val Lavizzara.

Fusio is a village and former municipality in the district of Vallemaggia in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. In 2004 the municipality was merged with the other, neighboring municipalities Broglio, Brontallo, Menzonio, Peccia and Prato-Sornico to form a new and larger municipality Lavizzara.

Lavizzara is a municipality in the district of Vallemaggia in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. It is the only municipality in the valley. The municipality was created in 2004 by a merger of Broglio, Brontallo, Fusio, Menzonio, Peccia and Prato-Sornico. Lavizzara is situated 3 km south of Val Lavizzara.
