Haakentoppen is a mountain in Oscar II Land at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. It has a height of 870 m.a.s.l. and is located in the mountain group of Mathiesenfjella. The mountain is named after Norwegian businessman Haaken L. Mathiesen.- Type: Peak with an elevation of 870 metres

The Nicolaus Copernicus University Polar Station is a Polish research station in north-western Spitsbergen. It is located in the northern part of the Kaffiøyra close to Aavatsmarkbreen and has operated since 1975. Nicolaus Copernicus University Polar Station is situated 4 km west of Haakentoppen.
