Blomstrandøya, also known as Blomstrandhalvøya, is an island at the western side of Spitsbergen, Svalbard. It is located in Kongsfjorden, near the northern side of the fjord, and has a roughly circular shape with a cross section of about 5 km. Blomstrandhalvøya is situated 4 km west of Gerdøyane.

The AWIPEV Arctic Research Station is located in the arctic, on the Svalbard archipelago of Norway. The station is part of the research base of Ny-Ålesund, owned and managed by Kings Bay AS. Corbel Station is situated 10 km south of Gerdøyane.
