Ureterp is a village in the municipality of Opsterland in the east of Friesland, the Netherlands. After Gorredijk it is the second largest village of the municipality with a population of around 4,785 in January 2017. Ureterp is situated 2½ km east of Selmien.
Drachten
Drachten is the second largest town in the Dutch province of Friesland. Today, it is home to some 45.000 inhabitants. Since it was only a small village until well in the 1950s, when it passed the 10,000 people mark, its historic heritage is somewhat limited, but the city today serves as the regional centre for shopping and services.
