Linn lies with its historic city center within the lower Rhenish lowlands about 5 km east of the Krefeld city center. Krefeld-Linn station is served by the Rhein-Niers-Bahn and the Emscher-Niederrhein-Bahn Regionalbahn services. Krefeld-Linn is situated 2½ km south of Uerdingen.
