The Fuchskaute is an extinct volcano and, at 657.3 m above sea level, the highest mountain of the Westerwald and the county of Westerwaldkreis in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The name Fuchskaute refers to a place where the fox had its den.

It was formerly served by the Scheuerfeld–Emmerzhausen railway and is presently used as the maintenance base for Avanti Air. Siegerland Airport is situated 3½ km north of Löhnfeld.
