Valentia Island
Valentia Island is one of Ireland's most westerly points. It lies in Dingle Bay off the Iveragh Peninsula in the southwest of County Kerry. It is linked to the mainland by the Maurice O'Neill Memorial Bridge at Portmagee.| Tap on a place to explore it |

Illaunloughan is a medieval Christian monastery and National Monument located in County Kerry, Ireland. The site is located on a tiny island of 0.3 acres in Portmagee Channel, a channel separating Valentia Island from the Iveragh Peninsula.

Chapeltown is a village on Valentia Island in the south-west of County Kerry. It is the second major settlement on the Island, the other being Knightstown 4 kilometers away. Chapeltown is situated 2½ km east of Valentia Island.
Portmagee

Portmagee is a fishing village on the Iveragh Peninsula of County Kerry, with a population in 2016 of 123. In Irish it's An Caladh, "the ferry", because it was the port for Valentia Island, but a bridge now spans the channel.

Knightstown, alternatively called Knight's Town, is a village and the largest settlement on Valentia Island, County Kerry, in Ireland. It lies within the townland of Farranreagh, at the eastern tip of the island. Knightstown is situated 6 km east of Valentia Island.
