The Mattock River is a river in Ireland. It is a tributary of the River Boyne. Its source is near Collon, from where it flows through County Louth towards the southeast until a place west of Drummond Tower in Coolfore where it begins to form the boundary between Counties Meath and Louth.Places of Interest

Townleyhall passage grave is a chamber tomb located around 2 km north of Dowth tomb. It is part of the megalithic complex of Brú na Bóinne in County Louth, Ireland. It is located outside the World Heritage Site core area but inside the buffer zone.

Townley Hall is a Georgian country house which stands in parkland at Tullyallen some 5 km west of Drogheda, County Louth in Ireland. It was designed by Irish architect Francis Johnston for the Townley Balfour family and built between 1794 and 1798.
