Fethard is a small town in County Tipperary, with a population in 2022 of 1700. It was settled by the Normans from 1201, who built its defensive walls. The town's medieval buildings are the main reason to visit.

Clonmel is the county town of County Tipperary jointly with Nenagh; in 2022 it had a population of 18,000. It stands on the River Suir, which forms the boundary with County Waterford, though the boundary swings south opposite town to include buildings on the other bank within County Tipperary.

Marlfield is a village three kilometres west of Clonmel, County Tipperary, Ireland. It is within the townlands of Marlfield and Inishlounaght. It replaced an older settlement named Abbey, which had developed near the 12th century Cistercian community of Inislounaght Abbey. Marlfield is situated 8 km south of Lisronagh.
