The Château de Rambouillet, also known in English as the Castle of Rambouillet, is a château in the town of Rambouillet, Yvelines department, in the Île-de-France region in northern France, 50 km southwest of Paris. Château de Rambouillet is situated 2½ km southwest of Forest of Rambouillet.

Rambouillet is a town in the Yvelines department of Île-de-France, to the south-west of Paris. It is most well-known for the Château de Rambouillet and its vast grounds which blend into the Forest of Rambouillet, which also acted as the official summer residence of the President of France until 2009.
