Risco de los Claveles, is the second highest peak in the Sierra de Guadarrama. It is 2366 meters high, and is located in the northwest of Peñalara Natural Park, 700 meters north from Peñalara peak.

The Laguna Grande de Peñalara, also known as Laguna de Peñalara, is a lake of glacial origin located at the bottom of the Peñalara cirque, at 2017 meters altitude, in the central area of the Sierra de Guadarrama, belonging to the Sistema Central, in the Iberian Peninsula.
