Buen kulturhus is a cultural multi-purpose house located in the town of Mandal in the municipality of Lindesnes in Agder, Norway. The building opened in 2012 and includes a library, an art gallery, cinemas, halls adapted for theater, dance, concerts, and other events as well as a culture school. Buen kulturhus is situated 3 km west of Ime.

It is one of the two churches for the Mandal parish which is part of the Lister og Mandal prosti in the Diocese of Agder og Telemark. Mandal Church is situated 2½ km west of Ime.

Umoe Mandal AS is a shipbuilding company in the Ulltveit-Moe Group. Their shipyards are based at Mandal in Norway. Founded in 1989 as Kværner Båtservice, later Kværner Mandal, and known as Umoe Mandal since 2000, the company specialises in high-speed naval vessels, mine countermeasure vessels and fast patrol boats. Umoe Mandal is situated 2½ km southwest of Ime.
