The Maddalena archipelago is a group of islands in the Straits of Bonifacio between Corsica and north-eastern Sardinia next to the shores of the famous Costa Smeralda.

Arcipelago di La Maddalena National Park is a geomarine national park on the coast of Sardinia. The park was established on 1 April 1994, followed by the change of DPR on 17 May 1996. Arcipelago di La Maddalena National Park is situated 2½ km northeast of Stagnali.
