Fossato di Vico is a town and comune of Umbria in the province of Perugia in Italy, at 581 m above sea‑level on the middle slopes of Mount Mutali. It lies just off the SS 3 highway, the successor to the ancient Roman Via Flaminia, between Gualdo Tadino, Sigillo;Fabriano and Gubbio in Antiquity, a branch of the Via Flaminia may have traversed the town. Fossato di Vico is situated 8 km northwest of Serradica.

Fabriano is a town and comune of Ancona province in the Italian region of the Marche, at 325 metres above sea level. It lies in the Esino valley 44 kilometres upstream and southwest of Jesi; and 15 kilometres east-northeast of Fossato di Vico and 36 kilometres east of Gubbio. Fabriano is situated 9 km northeast of Serradica.
