Craco is a town in the province of Matera, Italy. It was abandoned towards the end of the 20th century due to natural disasters. The abandonment has made Craco a tourist attraction and a popular filming location.

Pisticci is a town comune in the province of Matera, in the Southern Italian region of Basilicata. Pisticci is the fourth most populous town in the region and the most populous in the province after Matera. Pisticci is situated 9 km east of Torrente Salandrella.
