Mount Ascensione is a 1,110 m high elevation in the Marche sub-Apennines, located entirely in the province of Ascoli Piceno. It straddles the valleys of Tronto and Tesino, a river that originates just north near Force. Monte Ascensione is situated 2½ km north of Polesia.
