Passo di Nevea

Sella Nevea, at an altitude of 1,195 m, is a high mountain pass in the Julian Alps, in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of northeast Italy. Sella Nevea also lends its name to a frazione of the Chiusaforte municipality and the nearby Kanin-Sella Nevea Ski Resort.

Prestreljenik is a 2,499-meter mountain in the western range of the Julian Alps. The summit of the mountain lies on the Italian–Slovenian border, which runs along the Kanin group ridge in the area. Prestreljenik is situated 3 km south of Passo di Nevea.

Cave

Čehi 2 on the Rombonski podi plateau to the north of Bovec is the deepest cave in Slovenia and, as of 2026, the 15th deepest in the world. It is 1505 meters deep and 5536 meters long. Čehi 2 cave is situated 3½ km southeast of Passo di Nevea.
