Marano Lagunare is a comune in the Regional decentralization entity of Udine in the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 50 kilometres northwest of Trieste and about 35 kilometres south of Udine. Marano Lagunare is situated 3½ km north of Marano Lagoon.
