The Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, commonly referred to as HNK Zagreb, is a theatre, opera and ballet house in Zagreb. Located on the centre of Republic of Croatia Square, it is the oldest Croatian theatre institution, officially opening on November 24, 1860. Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb is situated 1¼ km east of Zagreb West railway station.
