Debeli Rtič

Debeli Rtič is a cape in the northern Adriatic Sea on the border between Slovenia and Italy. It is located north-west of the Slovenian town of Ankaran, and west of the Italian town of Muggia. The name literally means 'Thick Little Cape'.

A salt marsh, saltmarsh or salting, also known as a coastal marsh, is a tidal wetland in the upper coastal intertidal zone between land and sea that is regularly flooded by tides of seawater or brackish water. Salt marsh is situated 3 km southeast of Debeli Rtič.
