Moycarkey

Moycarkey, officially Moycarky, is a village in Moycarky townland in the civil parish of Moycarky in County Tipperary, Ireland. It contains the extensive ruins of Moycarkey Castle.

Grallagh Castle is a tower house and National Monument located in County Tipperary, Ireland. Grallagh Castle is situated 3½ km south of Moycarkey.

Thurles Golf Club has existed since at least 1909, when it affiliated to the Golfing Union. The club's current course is located just to the south of Thurles town in the townland of Turtulla. Thurles Golf Club is situated 4 km north of Moycarkey.

Horse and Jockey is a village in County Tipperary, Ireland. It lies on the R639 road, where it meets the N62 road to Thurles. It lies just off junction 6 of the M8 motorway, which by-passed the village in December 2008.
