Ahascragh is a village in east County Galway, Ireland. It is located 11 km north-west of Ballinasloe on the Ahascragh/Bunowen River, a tributary of the River Suck. Ahascragh is situated 4½ km west of Ballynamona.

Ballinasloe is a town in the easternmost part of County Galway, Ireland, situated on the River Suck, which forms the boundary with County Roscommon. Located at an ancient crossing point on the river, evidence of ancient settlement in the area includes a number of Bronze Age sites. Ballinasloe is situated 8 km southeast of Ballynamona.
