Leixlip Confey

Leixlip Confey is a railway station in the north-eastern corner of County Kildare, Ireland. It is one of two stations that serve the civil parish of Leixlip, the other being Leixlip Louisa Bridge. Both stations lie on the Dublin to Maynooth commuter route. Leixlip Confey is situated 3½ km southeast of Ravensdale.

Conolly’s Folly

The Conolly Folly, a.k.a. The Obelisk, is an obelisk structure located between Celbridge, Leixlip and Maynooth in County Kildare, Ireland. It was built in the mid-18th century by the Conolly family, then owners of the Castletown Estate. Conolly’s Folly is situated 3 km southwest of Ravensdale.

Leixlip is a town in north-east County Kildare, Ireland. Its location on the confluence of the River Liffey and the Rye Water has marked it as a frontier town historically: on the border between the ancient kingdoms of Leinster and Brega, as an outpost of the Pale, and on Kildare's border with County Dublin. Leixlip is situated 4 km southeast of Ravensdale.

Maynooth

Maynooth is a town in County Kildare, 30 km west of Dublin. Maigh Nuad means the plain of Nuadha, the mythical king who lost his arm in battle, was fitted with a silver one, then grew back his own.

Dunboyne is a town in County Meath, Ireland, 15 km north-west of Dublin city centre. It is a commuter town for Dublin. In the 20 years between the 1996 and 2016 censuses, the population of Dunboyne more than doubled from 3,080 to 7,272 inhabitants. Dunboyne is situated 4½ km northeast of Ravensdale.
