Candlemas Island is a small uninhabited island of the Candlemas Islands in the South Sandwich Islands. It is one of about a dozen islands that make up the South Sandwich island arc, a chain of volcanoes in the Southern Ocean that was discovered in 1775 by James Cook.| Tap on a place to explore it |

Mount Perseus
Peak
Mount Perseus is the lower and more northerly of twin ice domes in the east part of Candlemas Island, South Sandwich Islands. Named by United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee in 1971 in association with nearby Mount Andromeda.
Tomblin Rock
Tomblin Rock is an isolated rock 0.6 nautical miles east-southeast of Demon Point, Candlemas Island, in the South Sandwich Islands. It is 24 meters high.Boot Rock
Boot Rock is a rock, 30 metres high, which lies 0.1 nautical miles off the southeast side of Candlemas Island in the South Sandwich Islands. It was charted and named by Discovery Investigations personnel on the Discovery II in 1930.Candlemas Island
