Gros Islet is a town at the far northern end of Saint Lucia. It is the newest town in Saint Lucia, being the most recent to have been promoted from being a village.

Monchy is a town and second-order administrative division of Gros Islet District in the island nation of Saint Lucia. The town is located near the northern end of the island about 4 kilometres from Gros Islet, and about 7.9 kilometres from the capital, Castries.
