Momil is a town and municipality located in the Córdoba Department, northern Colombia. According to 2018 estimates, the population of Momil was 16,264, with a density ratio of 110 persons per square kilometer. Momil is situated 10 km south of Nuevo Oriente.

Coveñas is a resort city and municipality located in the Sucre Department, northern Colombia. It was established in the 16th century as a port for slave traders, then it became an oil port in the twentieth century. Coveñas is situated 10 km north of Nuevo Oriente.
