San Sebastián is a town and municipality in the Cauca Department, Colombia at a distance of 165 km by road from the city of Popayán, capital city of the department of Cauca. The town was founded in 1562 by Pedro Antonio Gómez. San Sebastián is situated 4½ km southeast of La Honda.

Founded in 1551 by Vasco de Guzmán and Alonso de Fuenmayor, the municipality covers an area of 520 km2 and has a population of 21,300. The population is primarily engaged in agriculture. Almaguer is situated 8 km northwest of La Honda.
