Manatí is a Colombian municipality located to the south of the Atlántico department, approximately 44 miles from Barranquilla. It was created in 1639 in a place the natives used to call Mahabana. Manatí is situated 5 km west of Carreto.

Campo de la Cruz is a municipality and a town in the Colombian department of Atlántico. It is the fifth most populated town in the Department and is situated on the west bank of the Magdalena river and at the southern part of the Department of Atlántico. Campo de la Cruz is situated 8 km southeast of Carreto.
