El Chanal
Archaeological site
El Chanal is an archaeological site located at El Chanal town, 4 kilometres north of the city of Colima, Mexico. Based on its extension, over 50 hectares, it is probable that it was the largest settlement of the state of Colima; it developed on both banks of the “Río Verde” or Río Colima. El Chanal is situated 2 km northwest of Capacha.

La Campana is an archaeological site included in the Mexican archaeological heritage list since 1917. Located in the vicinity of the city of Colima. This site was the largest prehispanic population center in western Mexico. La Campana is situated 4 km southwest of Capacha.
