Sexton's Creek is a creek in Clay County, Kentucky that is a tributary of the South Fork Kentucky River in neighbouring Owsley County, Kentucky. It is 24 miles long. It was named for a Sexton family of settlers who arrived some time before 1815. Taft is situated 3½ miles northwest of Aldridge Rock School.

Oneida is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Clay County, Kentucky, United States. Its population was 238 at the 2020 census. It is the home of Oneida Baptist Institute. Goose Creek, the Red Bird River, and Bullskin Creek confluence to form the South Fork of the Kentucky River a few hundred yards from the center of the town. Oneida is situated 3½ miles south of Aldridge Rock School.
