Pilottown is an unincorporated community and ghost town in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana, United States. It serves as a base for river pilots to guide ships across the bar and up and down the Mississippi River. Pilottown is situated 5 miles south of Long Island Bayou.

Plaquemines Parish is in Louisiana, at the south-east edge of the Greater New Orleans region. The parish seat is officially Pointe à la Hache, although since the destruction of Hurricane Katrina in 2005 most of the government has been in Belle Chasse. Venice is situated 6 miles west of Long Island Bayou.
