Baskin is a village in Franklin Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 210 at the 2020 census, up from 188 in 2000. Baskin is located north of the parish seat of Winnsboro. Baskin is situated 3½ miles northeast of Pine Bayou.

Winnsboro is the largest city and parish seat of Franklin Parish in Northern Louisiana. Home to the Franklin Parish Catfish Festival, considered the largest one-day festival in all of Louisiana. It had 4,900 residents in 2020.
