Shreveport

Bossier City is the second-largest city in Northern Louisiana and the largest city in Bossier Parish. Home to Barksdale Air Force Base, which hosts several Air Force commands, as well as the backup landing site of Air Force One, Bossier City's recent history revolves largely around the U.S. military.
Monroe
Monroe is the third-largest city in Northern Louisiana, largest city in Northeast Louisiana, and the parish seat of Ouachita Parish. It is also home to the University of Louisiana at Monroe and their sports team, the ULM Warhawks.Destinations to Discover

Ruston

Ruston is the fourth-largest city in Northern Louisiana, with a population of about 23,000 people, and is home to Louisiana Tech University.
Minden

Minden, the parish seat of Webster Parish and the fifth-largest city in Northern Louisiana, has a healthy dose of both city and country attributes. Driving through the downtown strip on old brick-paved roads and surrounded by the same buildings and structures that existed over 100 years ago, it is easy to get the feeling that you have taken a trip back in time.
Mansfield

Mansfield, in Northern Louisiana, is an example of a small town with several big stories, the largest of which revolves around the American Civil War. The parish seat of DeSoto Parish, the city is home of several historical sites, including the first women's college in the western United States, and the site of one of the largest Civil War battles west of the Mississippi River.

Winnfield is a small city in, and the parish seat of, Winn Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 5,749 at the 2000 census, and 4,840 in 2010.
Winnsboro

Winnsboro is the largest city and parish seat of Franklin Parish in Northern Louisiana. Home to the Franklin Parish Catfish Festival, considered the largest one-day festival in all of Louisiana. It had 4,900 residents in 2020.
Coushatta

Coushatta, nestled on the banks of the Red River, is a small, quiet town. Founded in the 1870s, Coushatta serves as the heart of Red River Parish. While many of the structures of its past have long since faded, there are still a handful of markers in and out of town that indicate the town's heritage and its role in local and state history.
Arcadia

Arcadia is a town of 2,700 people in North Louisiana and the parish seat of Bienville Parish. At 384 feet above sea level, Arcadia has the highest elevation of any town in the state of Louisiana.
Logansport

Logansport is a town in western DeSoto Parish adjacent to the Sabine River in western Louisiana, United States. The population was 1,340 in 2020. It is part of the Shreveport–Bossier City metropolitan statistical area.
Jonesboro

Jonesboro is a town in and the parish seat of Jackson Parish in the northern portion of the U.S. state of Louisiana. The population was 4,106 in 2020.
Lake Providence

Lake Providence is a town of 3,400 people in the far northeastern corner of Northern Louisiana. It is the parish seat of East Carroll Parish and is one of the major production centers of both Louisiana's historical and modern cotton industry.
