Pine Barrens

The Pine Barrens, also known as the Pinelands, are a heavily forested region in southern New Jersey, covering one-third of the state's total area. Sandwiched between the Philadelphia and New York City metro areas, the Pine Barrens remain surprisingly rural and undeveloped with more than one million acres of open space.

Browns Mills Junction is an unincorporated community located within Pemberton Township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The site, located about 1.6 miles southwest of downtown Browns Mills, is located at the crossing of Junction Road and the Philadelphia and Long Branch Railway, later a part of the Pennsylvania Railroad. Browns Mills Junction is situated 4½ miles west of Whitesbog.

Wheatland is an unincorporated community within Manchester Township in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Wheatland is located approximately four miles southwest of Whiting, along a now-abandoned line of the New Jersey Southern Railroad. Wheatland is situated 6 miles southeast of Whitesbog.

Woodland Township is a township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 1,544, a decrease of 244 from the 2010 census count of 1,788, which in turn reflected an increase of 618 from the 1,170 counted in the 2000 census. Four Mile is situated 6 miles southwest of Whitesbog.
