Akard station is a DART rail station in Dallas, Texas. It is located in the City Center District on Pacific Avenue, between Akard and Field Streets. It opened on June 14, 1996, and is a station on the Red, Orange, Green and Blue lines, serving Elm Place, One Main Place, Renaissance Tower, Thanks-Giving Square and Thanksgiving Tower. Akard station is situated 520 feet northwest of Busch Building.

The Magnolia Hotel is a 29-story, Beaux-Arts style, upscale hotel in the Main Street District of downtown Dallas, Texas, that for many years was the tallest building in the state after surpassing the Adolphus Hotel.
