Old Point Comfort Light is a lighthouse located on the grounds of Fort Monroe in the Virginia portion of the Chesapeake Bay. It is the second oldest light in the bay and the oldest still in use. Fort Monroe Lighthouse is situated 1½ miles east of Hampton Bar.

Phoebus is a formerly incorporated town now part of the present-day city of Hampton, Virginia, on the Virginia Peninsula. In 1900, it was named in honor of local businessman Harrison Phoebus, who is credited with convincing the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway to extend its tracks to the town from Newport News. Phoebus is situated 1½ miles northeast of Hampton Bar.
