The Globe Village Fire House is a historic former fire house on West Street at Main Street in Southbridge, Massachusetts. It is the first of two fire stations built by the city in the 1890s; the other, the Elm Street Fire House, is still in use as a fire station. Globe Village Fire House is situated 1,500 feet south of River Street School.

The Alden-Delehanty Block is a historic commercial block at 858 Main Street in Southbridge, Massachusetts. Completed in 1888, it is the largest commercial building built in the town's Globe Village area, and is one of its most imposing Victorian edifices. Alden-Delehanty Block is situated 1,100 feet southwest of River Street School.

Located on roughly 80 acres east of downtown Southbridge, the complex was developed between the 1880s and 1950s by the American Optical Company, one of the largest manufacturers of eyewear at the turn of the 20th century.
