Former First Congregational Church

The Former First Congregational Church is a historic church building at 938 Post Road, on the corner of Rt. 1 and Buzzell Road in Wells, Maine. It was built in 1862 on the site of the first colonial meeting house in Wells, believed to have been built in 1664. Former First Congregational Church is situated 2½ miles southwest of Drakes Island Beach.

The school primarily serves students from Wells, as well as smaller numbers of students from Ogunquit, which was part of the town of Wells until 1980 and has never had its own high school.
