Perkins Island Light is a lighthouse on the Kennebec River in Maine. It was established in 1898, as part of a major upgrade of the river's lights — the Doubling Point Light and the separate Range Lights on the point, Perkins Island Light, and Squirrel Point Light were all built at the same time.
Popham Colony

The Popham Colony—also known as the Sagadahoc Colony—was a short-lived English colonial settlement in North America. It was established in 1607 by the proprietary Plymouth Company and was located in the present-day town of Phippsburg, Maine, near the mouth of the Kennebec River. Popham Colony is situated 2½ miles south of Lamb Island.

Squirrel Point Light is a lighthouse marking the southwestern point of Arrowsic Island on the Kennebec River. Squirrel Point Light Station is situated 2½ miles northwest of Lamb Island.
