Rangeley Lake State Park is a public recreation area occupying 870 acres on the southern shore of Rangeley Lake in Franklin County, Maine. The state park is partly in the town of Rangeley and partly in Rangeley Plantation. Rangeley Lake State Park is situated 1½ miles southeast of South Bog Islands.

The Oquossoc Log Church is a historic non-denominational church on Maine State Route 4 in the Oquossoc village of Rangeley, Maine. Built in 1916, it is a unique structure, whose walls and major interior fixtures are all built out of spruce logs. Oquossoc Log Church is situated 2½ miles northwest of South Bog Islands.
