Long Valley is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Washington Township, Morris County, New Jersey, in the United States. Once known as German Valley from its foundation during the colonial era, the community was renamed in response to anti-German sentiment during World War I.

Schooley's Mountain is an unincorporated community located within Washington Township in Morris County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Named for the Schooley family who owned a considerable amount of land there in the 1790s, the community is on Schooley's Mountain, a mountain with an elevation of about 1,000 feet directly north of Long Valley.
