The Enchanted Forest — Water Safari is an amusement park/water park. It is the largest water park in New York, United States, and is located within Old Forge, in the Adirondack region.

Thendara station is the Adirondack Scenic Railroad's longest-duration northern terminus, and is near Thendara, New York. It is served by trains heading south to Utica beginning around the month of May each year. Thendara station is situated 2½ miles southwest of Beaver Brook.

Old Forge is a village of about 750 people in the Adirondacks. As one of the western gateway communities of the Adirondack Park, Old Forge forms an extensive business district, primarily directed at tourism especially during the summer months.

Thendara is a hamlet and census-designated place in Herkimer County, New York, United States. Thendara is located in the Adirondack Park, in the southern part of the town of Webb, west of Old Forge on Route 28. Thendara station is a station on the Adirondack Railroad; it was formerly the northern terminus of most northbound trains from Utica, which was extended to Tupper Lake in late spring, 2023. Thendara is situated 2 miles southwest of Beaver Brook.
