Orient Beach State Park is a 363-acre state park located in Southold, New York. The park is situated at the tip of the North Fork of Long Island. Long Beach, located within the park, was designated a National Natural Landmark in April 1980 for its 2.5-mile sand spit beach demonstrating plant succession from salt marsh to maritime red cedar forest.

The service is privately owned and operated by Cross Sound Ferry Services, headquartered in New London and run by the Wronowski family, which also owns and operates the Block Island Express ferry service and the Thames Shipyard and Repair Company.
