Saratoga Lake is in the eastern part of Saratoga County, New York. The lake is approximately 4.5 miles long, about 1.5 miles wide at its widest point, and about 95 feet deep. Saratoga Lake is situated 2½ miles southwest of Saratoga Lake.

Yaddo is an artists' community located on a 400-acre estate in Saratoga Springs, New York. Its mission is "to nurture the creative process by providing an opportunity for artists to work without interruption in a supportive environment." On March 11, 2013, it was designated a National Historic Landmark. Yaddo is situated 2 miles northwest of Saratoga Lake.
