Port Jefferson Power Station is a fossil-burning power plant in Port Jefferson, New York on Long Island. It is operated by National Grid USA. Its four main steam turbine units were constructed between 1948 and 1960 by the Long Island Lighting Company, with the older two decommissioned in 1994.
John T Mather Memorial Hospital

Port Jefferson is the terminus for the Port Jefferson Branch of the Long Island Rail Road in Port Jefferson Station, New York. The station is located on New York State Route 25A, on the north side of the tracks, but is also accessible from Oakland Avenue, as well as Railroad Avenue and Union Street on the south side of the tracks. Port Jefferson station is situated 2½ miles south of White Beach.
