New Stanton is a borough in Pennsylvania's Laurel Highlands. Though the town itself is small, its importance as a transportation hub — Interstate 70, US 119, the Pennsylvania Turnpike, and the Amos Hutchinson Bypass all converge here — has led to the growth of a huge cluster of hotels, restaurants, gas stations, and convenience stores around the enormous interchange.

Tarrs is an unincorporated community and coal town that is located in East Huntingdon Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, United States. Situated on Pennsylvania Route 31 approximately three miles west of Mt. Pleasant, it is the only location in Pennsylvania known to have an active and running ACA Allertor 125 Civil Defense warning siren. Tarrs is situated 2½ miles south of Hunker.
